Questions people ask
Does WhatsApp compress images anyway?
WhatsApp recompresses photos it sends as images. A file that is already reasonably sized, under about 1 MB with the long side around 1600 pixels, comes through cleaner than a large one that WhatsApp squeezes hard. Sending as a document keeps the original.
Which formats work?
JPG, PNG and WebP in. JPG or WebP out. For a PDF, convert it first with our PDF tool.
Is the card uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Nothing leaves your device unless you choose to make a live page afterwards.
Will it blur the small text?
That is what the magnifier is for. Compare the same spot before and after and raise the quality if the fine print softens.
